A Fresh Look and New Flavors at The Hilltop Restaurant

There’s plenty new to experience at The Hilltop Restaurant at Steele Hill Resort and you don’t have to be staying at the resort to enjoy it. Open to resort guests and the public, the Hilltop welcomes Lakes Region residents and visitors alike. Over the past several months, our team has been busy refreshing both the restaurant and its surrounding spaces, with improvements designed to make each visit even more welcoming. From a completely renovated outdoor deck to a refreshed menu and new touches for families, there’s a lot to discover during your next visit.

A Completely Refreshed Outdoor Deck

One of the most noticeable transformations is the overhaul of the Hilltop’s outdoor deck. The project included a new deck surface, stairway, modern cable railing system, updated lighting and exterior siding improvements surrounding the restaurant. The finished space provides a clean, updated setting for outdoor dining while keeping the incredible views of Lake Winnisquam and the Belknap Mountain Range front and center. Whether you’re joining us for dinner, enjoying a drink or simply taking in the scenery, the renovated deck offers a beautiful place to experience the Hilltop setting.

Updates Inside the Restaurant

The improvements continue inside the Belknap and Mountain View Rooms, where an updated wall of windows refreshes the dining space while continuing to showcase the surrounding scenery. A new door also provides direct access to the outdoor seating area on the back side of the restaurant. Together, these updates create a more seamless connection between the indoor dining rooms and the deck, giving guests even more ways to enjoy the views and atmosphere throughout their visit.

A New Welcome to The Hilltop Restaurant

Guests arriving at the Main Inn will also notice a brand-new custom Hilltop Restaurant sign. Featuring a rich brown woodgrain texture, raised border and clean finished design, the sign complements the character of the property while making the restaurant easier to identify. Most importantly, it clearly welcomes both resort guests and the surrounding community by letting visitors know that The Hilltop Restaurant is open to the public and conveniently located through the Main Inn entrance.

Something New for Our Youngest Guests

Families will find a fun new addition waiting at the table as well. Our custom Where’s Tova children’s activity placemat brings a little Steele Hill adventure to mealtime with a double-sided design created especially for our youngest diners. One side features a detailed coloring scene inspired by the resort, while the other includes games, puzzles and activities featuring familiar Steele Hill experiences. Custom Tova stickers complete the fun and give kids something extra to enjoy during their meal.

Fresh Flavors on the Hilltop Menu

The restaurant itself isn’t the only thing receiving an update. Our refreshed Hilltop Restaurant menu introduces a variety of new options alongside familiar favorites. Guests can start with selections like Mussels or the Orchard Salad, try something a little different with our Dill Pickle Brick Oven Pizza, create their own combination with Build Your Own Pasta, or settle in for entrées including the Porterhouse Pork Chop and New York Strip. With plenty of choices to explore, there’s something new to look forward to whether it’s your first visit or your latest return.
