Steele Hill’s Summer Ahead

Steele Hill’s Summer Ahead

It’s mid-May and the spring flowers are finally in bloom, the grass is getting greener, and the birds are singing. It is hard to believe that the school year will be ending, students will be graduating, and summer vacations will soon begin. If you haven’t already booked your summer vacation at Steele Hill, now is the time to do it! Make sure to go to our newly designed website and check out all of our summer discount packages.

We have been busy over the winter and early spring season, updating and renovating several of our accommodations. Twenty-two units have been updated with new cabinets and granite countertops. We have painted and we are in the process of replacing carpets, drapes and blinds in 40 units. Several units will also receive new furniture to include updated bedroom and dining sets, sofas and coffee tables.

Last year we launched laser tag and received great feedback from the guests who participated. This year we are happy to announce that we will also be offering guided electric bike tours on a trail system throughout the property. You will be guided around the resort campus and be able to check out the original homestead site on Steele Hill as well as some magnificent views. Visit our website to book either one of these activities! If these types of activities are not for you, we have plenty more to do around the property. Enjoy your day poolside at one of our 4 different pool areas. You can play a round of golf on our 9-hole executive course or we have corn hole, horseshoes, volleyball, tennis, basketball, and Gaga Ball all available for guests to use with no additional fees. Go for a hike on one of the many trails in the trail network that stretches around the resort property. Each week brings about new activities including ceramic and canvas painting, campfires with smores, a guest favorite of candy bar bingo, and more. At 7pm on Monday nights during July and August, stop in for Wildlife Encounter’s animal demonstrations which include local and exotic wildlife (located at the Carriage House).

The food and beverage department will be offering all of their tasty delights, not only in the Hilltop but delivered right to your room, at the resort outdoor pool or The Grill (located at the West Outdoor pool). We will be launching an updated menu in June with many of the old favorites as well as a few new additions. Join us for a delicious breakfast buffet on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Our menu is always available to view on our website!

Forget something at home? Check out The Market, we have snacks, breakfast items, ice cream, Steele Hill and Path Resorts apparel, locally made New Hampshire products and you can even make a friend to take home at Teddy Bear Mountain.

If you want to venture from the resort, the Lakes Region offers beaches, hiking, fishing, and boating. The Tanger Outlets conveniently located just a few miles away, offers tax-free shopping on many name brands.

However you decide to spend your valuable vacation time, we appreciate you choosing Steele Hill Resorts as your vacation destination and look forward to seeing you all this summer!

Sincerely,
Rob Robillard
