We are thrilled to share the news of the successful completion of our West Pool maintenance and update project at Steele Hill Resort. This extensive renovation, carried out between November 27th and December 9th, reflects our commitment to providing our guests with the highest quality facilities and experiences. Our comprehensive maintenance plan encompassed several key areas to enhance both the functionality and aesthetics of the pool. We began with the meticulous repair of all lights in the pool and the surrounding area, ensuring a bright and welcoming ambiance. This was followed by a fresh coat of paint in the pools, breathing new life into the space. The floors received a thorough pressure washing, and the plant bed areas were revitalized with fresh bark mulch, adding a touch of natural beauty. In a significant upgrade, specialists were brought in to install all-new boilers and change the water valves in the pump room, ensuring optimal performance and water temperature controls. The boiler upgrade had the added benefit of increasing the efficiency of the air handler to further improve humidity levels in the large atrium.
Our attention to detail extended to the walls of the pool area, which were cleaned and had all trim freshly painted. The kiddie pool’s cascading waterfall mushroom received a delightful repaint, and a new hot tub heater was installed in the smaller tub to ensure our guests’ utmost relaxation. The air handlers were serviced, including the installation of new filters, to maintain a healthy and clean atmosphere. For added security and efficiency, a KABA lock was installed on the storage room for employee access only and we also installed a new janitor sink and repaired piping in this area. The amenity lobby wasn’t left out, as it underwent a deep clean, including the ceiling fans and beams, enhancing the overall guest experience from the moment they step into the building. The racquetball court saw new covers on the sprinkler heads, and its lights and walls were cleaned for a brighter play area.
In the locker rooms, Sierra Stone company performed a thorough cleaning of the flooring and we treated all the stainless steel to restore its shine. We also introduced new composite, rust-proof benches, offering more comfort and convenience for our guests and owners. Finally, the Market storage space received a new refrigerator for back stocked items, further streamlining our operations.
