Valentine’s Day is the perfect time to slow down and celebrate the moments that matter most and there’s no better setting than a romantic evening at Steele Hill Resort. Overlooking Lake Winnisquam and the Belknap Mountain Range, our resort setting provides a breathtaking backdrop for an unforgettable night. This February 13th and 14th, couples are invited to enjoy an exclusive Valentine’s Dinner for Two at our Hilltop Restaurant, thoughtfully designed to create an intimate and unforgettable dining experience in the heart of New Hampshire’s Lakes Region.
Our Valentine’s Dinner features a four-course prix fixe menu for two, curated by the Hilltop Restaurant culinary team and served in a secluded dining space separate from the main dining room. With limited seating available, this special evening is intentionally private, allowing couples to relax and enjoy each other’s company in a setting that feels personal and refined. Each table will be dressed with crisp linens and accented with roses, setting the tone for a truly romantic night.
The evening begins with a shared appetizer of bruschetta, followed by a fresh salad course with your choice of strawberry salad or mango fig salad. For the entrée, couples may choose between a perfectly prepared ribeye steak, served with roasted red potatoes and garlic green beans, or pan-seared mahi mahi topped with mango salsa and served over roasted red pepper risotto. The experience concludes on a sweet note with a decadent four-layer red velvet cake, finished with cream cheese frosting and paired with both white and milk chocolate–dipped strawberries.
The Valentine’s Dinner for Two is priced at $150 per couple (tax and gratuity not included), offering an elevated dining experience that blends exceptional cuisine with the warm, inviting atmosphere Steele Hill Resort is known for. After dinner, couples are encouraged to continue the celebration with live music in the adjoining Tova’s Tavern, where Don Bergeron will be performing from 6:00 to 9:00 PM on Friday, February 14. Valentine’s drink specials will also be available, making it easy to toast to love and linger a little longer.
