2024 Pool Maintenance and Enhancements

We are excited to share with our guests and Vacation Club Members the successful completion of our 2024 pool maintenance projects at Steele Hill Resort. Our commitment to maintaining a first-class experience for all our guests continues with substantial upgrades and meticulous attention to detail, ensuring both our East and West pools are in peak condition for your enjoyment. Here are some of the updates carried out within the past month:

West Pool Area Enhancements: Our West Pool received extensive attention to enhance guest comfort and safety. Key improvements included the complete repainting of the big pool and the kiddie pool, ensuring a fresh and inviting appearance. All pool lights were meticulously checked and replaced as needed, enhancing both the ambiance and safety of the pool area. We also undertook the important task of sanding and repainting worn areas of the pool, such as stairs and pool lines, to ensure optimal safety and visual appeal.

Locker Room Upgrades: Both men’s and women’s locker rooms received a thorough makeover. This included painting ceilings, touching up locker paint, and ensuring all showers and stall doors operate flawlessly. We also installed new feminine product disposal cans in the stalls, reflecting our ongoing commitment to guest convenience and comfort.

Lobby and Oasis Improvements: The West Lobby saw significant improvements including repairing ceiling lights and a fresh coat of paint around the fitness center area. The plant beds under the stairs were refreshed with new bark nuggets and properly functioning lights. Additionally, the Oasis area enjoyed upgrades such as a mounted phone for enhanced guest service and thorough carpet cleaning.

East Pool Refurbishments: Our East Pool area wasn’t left behind, with significant updates including the replacement of two large windows and expansion and retiling of the bathroom floors, which also received new fixtures. The pool area’s fire sprinkler system was completely replaced to meet the latest safety standards. The pool itself benefited from new lights, a fresh set of anchors for swim lines, and a revamped hot tub filter system.

General Upgrades: Across both pool areas, efforts were made to enhance the general aesthetics and functionality. This included tasks like fertilizing plants, trimming trees, and cleaning the main air ducts. Even our racquetball court received a new ceiling vent and a thorough wash!

Looking Ahead to 2025: We have scheduled the next maintenance period for our East Pool from November 10th to the 22nd and the West Pool from December 1st to the 13th, 2025. Planning ahead ensures that our facilities remain in excellent condition for all our guests.
