The 2022 summer season is nearing the end and autumn is right around the corner. If you have not experienced New Hampshire’s Lakes Region in the fall I would highly recommend you take some time to visit us. The Lakes Region is known for various lake activities in the summer months but still has a lot to offer during the fall. September days may not always be warm enough for swimming but you can still enjoy a nice scenic boat ride around one of the many lakes or enjoy an adventure by paddling in a kayak or canoe. The mountains offer some amazing hikes for both beginners and experts, most hikes offer spectacular views of lakes and mountains and if you time your visit during foliage season, the magnificent colors will not disappoint. There are several amazing orchards in our area where you can take a wagon ride, pick fresh apples right off the trees, taste some refreshing apple cider and try delicious apple cider donuts. Many farms and orchards also have pumpkin patches where you can pick your own pumpkins to carve for Halloween or bring to Laconia for the annual Pumpkin Festival held in October.
